Miette Mountain Cabins

We stayed two nights at the Miette Mountain Cabins – and it was absolutely wonderful! From Jasper it was about a 25-minute drive through the mountains to reach Miette Mountain, where we arrived already impressed by the stunning scenery. The park was peaceful, the reception was open until 11 pm which was ideal, and our room was spotless with a very comfortable bed and a nice bathroom. Since we were on a 19-day trip, we also made use of the washer and dryer at reception. Thanks to the long opening hours, we had plenty of time to do our laundry. The location is perfectly situated on the way to the Hot Springs, making it easy to drive up the mountain for a relaxing swim. One of the best accommodations we’ve had during our road trip – highly recommended!

I booked two cabins, one for 2 people and the other for four people. The cabins were comfortable and the grounds very pleasant with beautiful mountain in the distance. We appreciated the fire pit and bbq. Our adult children liked the games room.

Communal aspect of groups around the fire pits & tables and bar-b-que. Reminds me of summer camp as a kid. Nice front decks and rock fireplace. clean and simple. Paper towels & kleenix like other cabins we stayed in (3 sets) wold have been nice addition, but then Miette had hot pots that others did not. The Staff was WONDERFUL ! & helped us secure a cabin (other than our reservation one) earlier as traffic allowed us to arrive an hr early. NICE office area with tea and coffee etc.. WiFi sketchy but then.... it's a cabin in the woods for gosh sakes ! Wonderful memorable experience.

Property was clean, comfortable and quiet. Surrounding facilities were great including a games room, TV, lounge with free coffee/tea/hot chocolate and cookies provided daily. Small convenience shop next to reception had essentials for purchase. Note - there are black bears often spotted on the property, this wasn't an issue for us personally but thought it worth mentioning for other potential guests to be aware. About a 40 min drive from downtown Jasper - easy drive on a scenic road, but you would definitely need your own transport to stay here.

We spent three nights at Miette Mountain Cabins and absolutely loved it! The cabins are fantastic—spacious, cozy, and set in a beautifully maintained property. There’s a pool, hot tub, barbecue area, campfire spots, and even a games room with pool, darts, and more. They offer free coffee, tea, and cookies, which was a lovely touch. The laundry room was spotless, and everything throughout the property was very clean. The staff were super friendly and welcoming. Plenty of parking available as well. It’s about 30 minutes outside of Jasper, but the peaceful location and atmosphere made it totally worth it. We’d definitely come back!
